Fantastic Experience

This was an absolutely fantastic experience. Our guide, Jackson, was an incredibly caring and genuinely engaged host. In addition to being a great bike and kayak guide, Jackson tailored our entire experience to our interests and language (American English) preferences, shared valuable insights about local customs and culture, and answered our many, many questions very thoughtfully. We had an amazing day. If you are looking for a delightful, active day trip focused on seeing the outskirts of Buenos Aires and experiencing the Tigre delta region, you must book this tour ā€” and be sure to ask for Jackson as your guide, you wonā€™t regret it!

Highly Recommend awesome experience

What an epic way to start our time in Buenos Aires. Raymond truly made this worthy of a 5 star review. Went on a somewhat rainy Sunday but this was the best decision. Crowds were down bc of the rain which made exploring La Boca easy and relaxed. Raymondā€™s stories about culture and history really brought this experience to life. One of us wasnā€™t super into history but giggled along as his presentation of info helped paint the picture of how each neighborhood grew its personality.. The full day tour was definitely the way to go- mostly flat, so many interesting neighborhoods and sites to see; we now feel as if we have a good handle on these places to come back and explore on our own.

An unforgettable experience

Our experience with Biking Buenos Aires exceeded all expectations. Although the tour wasnā€™t originally meant to be private, it turned into a wonderfully personalized experience that made it even more special. Pablo, our guideā€”who is also a professional photographerā€”captured some of the most incredible photos of our trip. Beyond that, he was extremely attentive, kind, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He took us not only to the iconic spots of Buenos Aires, but also to hidden gems that most visitors donā€™t get the chance to see. Lunch was a true local experience, featuring some of the best empanadas weā€™ve ever had. We ended the afternoon with a traditional mate experience, which, honestly, wouldnā€™t have been the same without a local guiding us through it. We are beyond happy and grateful for this experience. Highly recommendedā€”10/10!

Better than a typical tour ā€¦

We had such a great experience on this tour and saw more than the city. We felt its heartbeat. Biking was a great way to get a feel for the neighborhoods we saw and get a bit of exercise too. The bikes are in great condition and even the helmets were painted with pretty art! Raymond was so generous with his knowledge giving us insight not into just the history of the graffiti art and the landmarks but the context of what it meant. We felt like we saw more than just the sites but the soul of the city. It started to rain and Raymond had ponchos for us to wear and at the end of our tour even gave us a little mate (sp?) lesson where he taught us how to make it and the custom of sharing it with others. This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip! Highly recommend and thank you Raymond!

A Must Do in BA

Raymond was both a pleasure to be with on our ride and a fountain of information about Argentinian culture and history. We braved the rain with ponchos that he provided and even learned how to tango during one of our rest stops. It was a great way to see parts of the city that are often missed on the classic tour stops. Highly recommend!

From ā€œDodgyā€ Jokes to Delta Magic ā€” A Day Weā€™ll Never Forget

We spent 9ā€“5 with Raymond and can say without hesitation: this wasnā€™t a tour ā€” it was a proper day out with someone who genuinely loves what he does. The ride from Buenos Aires to Tigre could have been just a transfer. Instead, Raymond turned the 32 km stretch into a rolling masterclass in neighbourhoods we would never have discovered on our own ā€” elegant residential pockets, striking architecture, quiet, wealthy enclaves tucked between the city and the delta. The kind of places that donā€™t show up in the ā€œTop 10ā€ lists but absolutely should. Raymond himself? Endearing, sharp, and very funny. By mid-morning we had our own running jokes (ā€œthatā€™s what she saidā€ may have made multiple appearances), and he gamely leaned into Kiwi slang ā€” tossing around ā€œdodgyā€ and ā€œcheekyā€ like a pro. The banter made the whole day feel effortless. Tigre was the perfect contrast to the city. We kayaked through the delta for about an hour, which felt peaceful and almost surreal ā€” quiet water, leafy channels, and the rhythm of boat taxis moving through the area. We met a lovely local family who run those boats (and yes, we absolutely made friends with their adorable dog). It felt authentic and unpolished in the best possible way. Lunch was an asado experience that delivered everything you hope Argentina will deliver ā€” relaxed, abundant, delicious. No rushing, no conveyor belt vibe. Just great food and time to enjoy it - we got lost in conversation. Raymondā€™s layers are what make him special. A former hairdresser of 25 years who moved to Buenos Aires to pursue acting ā€” and has two films with Harvey Keitel under his belt ā€” he brings storytelling, timing, and personality to the day. Heā€™s proud of his path, and he should be. It shows in how he connects with people. He also sent us to an excellent gelato spot at the end ā€” the kind of recommendation that only comes from someone who truly knows the area. We covered a lot of ground, but it never felt rushed. It felt curated. Personal. Thoughtful. If youā€™re looking for someone who goes beyond surface-level sightseeing and gives you a day full of insight, humour, and genuine connection ā€” Raymond is your guy. Cheeky, charming, and absolutely not dodgy. Highly recommend.
