The sooner, the better! If the tour is not already full (12 person maximum), online reservations remain open until two hours before the scheduled tour (14 hours for Tigre Bike & Kayak Day Tour).
All tours end at the same location they began. Please reserve ahead of time to confirm your spots as we only allow 12 people maximum per tour. Times are subject to change by season. Please check the individual tour pages for the most up-to-date information on tour offerings, start times, and starting locations.
Per Section 10 of our Terms and Conditions: 10.6 Rain Policy- In the case of rain, it shall be assumed that the tour will be going as scheduled unless otherwise notified by Biking BA to the passenger. Biking BA will cancel the tour in cases of extreme weather that compromise the safety of the passengers which include lightning, thunder and/or flooding. Biking BA provides rain ponchos and other measures to mitigate the weather, therefore, if the tour goes out and the passenger decides to cancel their booking, he/she will be refunded 50% of their payment or given 100% credit to a future tour of equal or less value.
Easy to medium. All half-day and themed tours are on an easy level since we go at a leisurely pace and Buenos Aires is a very flat city. The Ultimate city tour (all day), we classify as medium level of difficulty only because we cover so much ground, 26km or 16mi. Although it is our most popular tour, we recommend the other tour options if you are sensitive to the heat, haven’t ridden a bike in a long time, have low blood pressure or any other health issues. We provide water on all tours!
All of our regular group tours are offered in English. Tours in Spanish and Portuguese can be done as private tours so long as there is an available guide. Occasionally we may have guides who speak other languages – please contact us at info@bikingbuenosaires.com for specific language requests.
Yes! We travel many bike trails & backstreets avoiding traffic whenever possible; however, in order to tour unique parts of the city, traffic may be unavoidable. Helmets are provided, highly recommended and stay with the bicycle for the duration of the tour. In the unfortunate case of a mishap, our guides are fully prepared with first aid equipment and emergency contact information. All bike riders are insured while one tour.
Group tours are scheduled and open to the public; whereas a private tour is closed to “public” bookings and tailored to the client’s interests and needs. We recommend private tours for families, newlyweds, company outings, senior citizens and anyone who wishes to bike at their own pace. Those taking private tours may personalize the tour by requesting route alterations in advance.
